June 4, 2005 National Right to Life Committee Endorses Bret Schundler
(MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ) -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Bret Schundler today issued the following statement:
"I am pleased to announce that I have been endorsed for Governor by the National Right to Life Committee. This endorsement, combined with my earlier endorsement by the New Jersey Right to Life PAC, means that pro-life voters in New Jersey know they have a clear choice -- to support a culture of life, they should vote for me for Governor next Tuesday.
"I greatly appreciate the endorsement, and I am committed to doing everything I can to affirm a culture of life in New Jersey. It's important that our party remain committed to its historic respect for human dignity. Imagine if neither one of America's major political parties stood up for the value of life -- what kind of future would result? I hope that even those who do not agree with me recognize that America is a better country because of the fact that our Republican party, born out of commitment to human equality, remains committed to that founding principle."

Dear Bret,
National Right to Life is pleased to endorse your bid for Governor of the state of New Jersey.
The endorsement reflects our appreciation for your long-time commitment to renewing a culture of life in our country. We recognize and commend your steadfast support for restoring legal protection for innocent life, both unborn children and medically disabled or dependent persons whose lives are threatened by euthanasia.
Your strong pro-life position should earn you the support of voters who are concerned with the right to life and the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family.
Sincerely,
Carol Tobias

NEW JERSEY RIGHT TO LIFE-PAC ENDORSES BRET SCHUNDLER FOR GOVERNOR
April 24, 2005--
"New Jersey Right to Life-PAC, the state's largest pro-life political action committee, is pleased to issue our endorsement of Bret Schundler for the Office of Governor of New Jersey," announced the group's Executive Director, Marie Tasy.
She said the decision caps a thorough analysis by NJRTL-PAC of the candidates, which takes into account their position on pro-life issues and their electability.
"It is extremely important for the NJ pro-life community to unite behind one candidate to win both the primary and general election,"said Tasy. She noted that New Jersey Right to Life-PAC endorsed Bret in his 2001 race for Governor. "Because Bret has established a strong base of support, we believe he is well-positioned to win this race." Tasy said that Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate U.S. Senator Jon Corzine has a 100% pro-abortion voting record and has been an active and willing participant in helping to prevent an up or down vote on President Bush's judicial nominees.
"For far too long, this state has been going in the wrong direction. From failure to enact a parental notification constitutional amendment to forcing taxpayers to fund abortion and clone and kill research on humans to singling out and penalizing pharmacists who wish to follow their consciences and a number of harmful initiatives in between, the time is long overdue for a change in Trenton. As Governor, Bret Schundler will set the tone and message that will help restore NJ to a culture of life."
"In a state besieged by corruption scandals and plagued by out of control bureaucratic spending, Bret Schundler's pro-life position, along with his plan to reduce property taxes and enact a comprehensive ban on pay to play contracts make him the odds-on-favorite to win not only the primary election, but the general election as well."
Tasy said NJRTL-PAC will engage in a variety of get out the vote and grassroots activities to help elect Bret Schundler the next Governor of New Jersey.
