I agree with you Ben, but my point is that if Bret doesn't speak up, then it looks like he's ashamed and MANY prolifers will vote for Lonegan.

When asked what book was on his nightstand, for instance, Steve Lonegan answered, "Bret Schundler's tax plan."

Bret is pro-life just like Steve Lonegan to answer those concerns. As Mayor of Jersey City, I think Bret proved his ability to actually take a city out of an economic crisis, similar to the crisis New Jersey faces right now.

If Bret doesn't start talking about something other than taxes taxes taxes, this Lonegan will take the prolife vote away from him and Bret will lose.

My vote and your vote means something. Lonegan is not ashamed of his faith in God and he is not afraid to use the executive authority to save an innocent person's life.

Vote for Lonegan? You might as well take your ballot and throw it at the guy behind you in line because a vote for Lonegan does nothing but continue the problem of no leadership in NJ. Vote for Schundler and let's actually make a difference this year in our state!

What evidence is there that Bret Schundler (who campaigned for Democratic candidate Gary Hart in 1984) is a conservative?

Bret is the most pro-life GOP candidate running right now.
I've heard him talk at GOP debates this year. He believes we should all be building a culture of life in New Jersey. That includes not killing embryonic people for their stem cells.
